Background
This organisation has a number of significant projects on the go and the current person in this function has been seconded to a key project where his focus will be for the next 6 or more months. The Detail To back-fill this function, we are after an practiced Logistics and/or Supply Chain Specialist who is capable of "hitting the ground running". You'll be analytical by nature and always be on the lookout for making improvements. Whilst desk-located, there will be a requirement to be in the warehouse from time-to-time in a hands-on capacity. This is a fast-moving environment so we're after someone "fast on their feet"! Requirements Strong hands-on practice in this area: » 5 years+ inventory and supply chain practice » practice in materials planning, BoM's and the like. » Strong knowledge and use of Inventory Management systems. » Strong ERP practice is necessary. » practice in practical project implementation and lifecycles. » Happy to work in a stores environment » Confident and able to make decisions » Strong Excel and MS Access expertise would be ideal.
