I am currently partnering with Te R?nanga o Toa Rangatira Inc, to recruit for an practiced Accounts manager. You will join a dynamic, exciting environment, promoting the values of Kotahi Tatau, Kaitiakitanga, Rangatiratanga and much more.
The Accounts manager assists the Group Financial Controller to manager the Accounts Payable and Receivable operations. This also includes extracting data to analyse and provide significant reports for management across various transactional areas.
Other tasks Include :
   » Ensure the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions are running effectively to support the business
   » Be responsible for managing the integrity of the general ledger and subledgers
   » Work closely with the Group Financial Controller to co-ordinate cashflow forecasting
   » Work toward month-end deadlines for reporting and compliance
   » Support the Group Financial Controller on the month-end close of process
   » Work with the CFO and CFC in delivering a leadership abilities approach that ensures an engaged, professional, flexible, change oriented and high performing finance team
   » Be a mentor and coach to the team, help wit technical accounting and commercial issues so the team learns and grows
Desired practice:
   » Minimum of five years in managing a team of accounts receivable and accounts payable agents
   » Working expertise of an ERP system, preferably MS Dynamics NAV
   » Working expertise of the MS Suite, including Excel, Office 365 and other significant Office technology
   » Excellent communication, organisational and analytical expertise
   » capability to build and maintain strong working relationships
   » Excellent customer service expertise with a positive and pro-active approach
   » expertise of general contract management principles, accounting concepts and/or partial accounting degree (preferred)
   » Working expertise of a financial planning and reporting system
