Job Opportunity: Reception:Job description:ReceptionPayment: Paid Position ($22.75)Job location: Lower Hutt Region: Wellington practice: practice Necessary Listing Added: 31/05/2022 This position is every second Thursday & Friday. Every second weekend, and every Wednesday working an 8 hour shift from 10:30 - 7pm, with the possibility of additional hours during the week when needed. Office hours are 8am - 7pm. This can vary over our summer season. You MUST be available to work weekends and public holidays. If you are friendly, motivated, computer savvy and have an interest in tourism you will enjoy this function! * Main tasks of this function are: » Check ins and check outs » Processing of bookings » Group quotes & bookings » Email enquiries » Phone enquiries » Laundry » Booking guest requirements such as: Ferry, Wellington attractions, public transport, tours, and other TOP 10 Parks » Maintaining the cleaning of the office » Money handling » Processing of payments » Serving of shop customers » Ordering stock if required » General office / reception tasks Applications will be required to have the following expertise: » Exceptional customer service » capability to multi-task, show good initiative, and a calm demeanor under pressure » An outgoing positive personality with strong decision making expertise » Excellent oral & written communication expertise » Have an eye for detail and high standard of professionalism » Excellent computer expertise (MS Office), expertise with 'Newbook' but not essential. Training will be provided. » Have a good reliable work ethic 'can-do' attitude and the capability to self manage » availability to lgain and train other staff members if required » Accommodation / tourism industry practice preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
