For over 30 years, they have provided fire alarm products used principally in commercial buildings all over New Zealand, Australia, and further afield. this function is a stimulating and varied function for any seasoned Hardware Test Engineers looking to bring their expertiseet into a growing and thriving business. About the function You will be supporting the organisations manufacturing environment with electronics for automated product testing. This requires the support of existing fleet of test jigs as well as the development of new designs. The responsibilities of this function is to support the business with the required equipment to ensure all sold product meets design specifications. tasks & Job responsibilities: » Formulating test processes. » Apply instrumentation measurement techniques. » Provide/Create/Design circuit schematics for new test jig designs. » Electronic circuit board design using Altium. » Design, development and testing of software used in embedded 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers ( PIC, ATmega, ARM) with peripherals for timing, analogue interfacing and communications protocols ( SPI, UART etc.) » Use of high-level language, Python » Log data performance analysis » Support manufacturing processes » Documentation of designs (component selection, circuit function, fabrication notes, specifications, etc) expertise and practice Above all else, you need the right attitude!
