They target jobs between $5M - $20M and are often a little more complex and vary considerably across sectors into industrial type projects. They have all inhouse labour rather than subcontract. They have a constant stream of new work given the power of their relationships ensuring job security. They are also a caring employer with a relative focus on lifestyle balance with some good systems in place for feedback and/or areas of development required. They are a young and dynamic team who are hardworking, but also know how to have fun so you can ensure that the culture is compensateing. You will have the opportunity to lgain from some of the best and prove that you have what Information technology takes to progress through the ranks. The function: this function would see you leading a team of carpenters, working with a site manager to coordinate site activities with some work on the tools as well. Such areas you will be involved with include managing sub contractors, toolbox meetings, site safety, quality control and assisting with ordering materials. Information technology does consist of some time on the tools but room to move off as you gain more practice. Your background: The key background required for this function is a carpentry trade qualification and at least 2 years practice in multi residential but ideally commercial and be looking to develop on commercial projects under $20M. You are a natural communicator, an capability to step into more managery type tasks, have top systems consciousness, are deadline driven and take pride in the quality of your work.
