Corban Estate Arts Centre (CEAC) is located in Henderson, West Auckland.Set withinbeautiful park-like groundsamongsthistoric winery buildings, Information technology is home toartist studios,a café, art classes foradults,youthandchildren, and an ever-changingprogrammeof exhibitions and events. Playing a vital part in both the local and wider established arts community, Corban Estate Arts Centre is a valued and renowned part of Auckland's arts and cultural scene.
The Corban Estate Arts Centre acexpertises Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the rightful place and participation of M?ori as tangata whenua in Aotearoa New Zealand. In honouring the diversity of our many communities in T?maki Makaurau there is a commitment to inclusivity, including the special connection with Moana Pacific, reflected in the relationship with the on-site Pacifica Arts Centre and the Pacifica Mamas.
With its long serving and respected Director retiring this year, the Board is now undertaking the task of searching for its next visionary leader who can take the reins of CEAC's future and success. With a mission to be an accessible, welcoming, busy arts and cultural centre that accommodates the interests of many, the Director function has a both exciting and challenging period ahead.
Leading an established and passionate team, the Director will provide direction and arts skills to its employees, partners, stakeholders, and community, and will make a genuine commitment to the CEAC vision, mission, and values of the organisation.
To be considered for this sought after position you will be an Arts visionary with a future focus.
Your demonstrable leadership abilities and arts sector skills will allow you to take full responsibility for all strategic development, financial, legal, marketing & promotion, sponsorship, people management, operational and administrative aspects of the function. practiced in change, risk management and with a strong commercial lens, you will be willing to push boundaries that will drive operational achievement and ultimately enhance the reputation of the organisation.
