Calving 870 cows milked through 50 bail rotary with ACR's and in-shed feeding. Flat farm, close to Lumsden. An hour from Te Anau and Invercargill, and a long hour from Queenstown. A wide and varied range of dairy farming activities including, but not limited to, winter crop feeding, assisting with day to day feed allocation, collecting cows and calves from the paddock, milking , feeding calves, weed control, attending to travelling effluent irrigator, tractor work, and general farm maintenance. As a team we are involved in all aspects of farming and slot into functions best suited to our strengths and weaknesses. Competitive remuneration negotiated to reflect practice, capability, qualifications and performance. Must have drivers licence, and dairy farming practice an advantage. Confidence and competence with machinery an advantage or great if your passion is animal health and welfare! Shared accommodation available.
