Job Opportunity: Call for Exhibition Proposals:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation Northart Gallery Closes 12 Aug 2021 Posted on 12 Jun 2021 Region Auckland Work type Call for entries, Expressions of interest Work classification Community & Access Arts, Visual Arts ShareProposals are now invited from individuals or groups of emerging, mid career and established New Zealand artists and curators for projects in 2022.Selected artists will work with Northart's Co-Directors Jonathan Organ and Jessica Pearless to develop an exhibition or creative project that includes a public programme of an artist talk and educational workshop. Northart exhibitions are four - six weeks in duration. Proposal Requirements: » Exhibition concept with description of your proposed show (one page) » Indication of artist-led educational workshop concept » A selection of previous and/or current images of work » An up to date CV for each participating artist or curator » An indication of possible dates for the exhibition and when you will be ready to exhibit » Any other significant documentation to support your proposal, including reviews,links to websites or online portfolios What we offer: » Curatorial assistance and guidance to develop your exhibition » On-site technical assistance at installation » Inclusion in Northart's marketing and publicity » A cateredexhibition opening function » Public programme support » Educational workshop support form our Art Educator » In house design andproduction of standard exhibition catalogues » The opportunity to sell your artwork if desired Proposals are due by 1 August 2021.
