The Employer
• located at the NZ head office, this is a high profile social services organization with over 200 staff and Caregivers, a group that focuses on care and support of New Zealand families and their youngest members.

The Opportunity
Support month (and year) end tasks at the direction of the Finance Manager, including select balance sheet reconciliations, sundry petty cash floats, web-located expense management administration, reconciliations and uploading of web-located expenses to accounting system
• Prepare analysis of expense accounts
• Prepare Day Fund (and other) reports (as a not for profit)
• Ensure that all everyday payments are entered onto the everyday cash flow forecast spreadsheet daily
• Backup and support Accounts Payable/Financial Accountant/Finance Manager functions where needed
• Process and upload large supplier invoices
• Reconcile and manage select suppliers
• Review coding & authorisations for petty cash returns (banking cards and cash, local and international)
• Support and administration for banking and banking cards (staff liaison), coding and uploading receipts
• Maintain supplier information, accounts and files around rentals and direct debits
• Support/guide Administrators re coding and cut off dates etc
• Review and maintain property leases

You
• Will have practice providing excellence in the accounts payable function and month end tasks
• Be accustomed to providing back up support to general finance related functions eg monitoring cashflow, some reconciliations
• Be warm, friendly and patient with great communication expertise to contact within Head Office, Suppliers and Bankers
• A culturally aware candidate who is a people person, ie ‘flexible’ not too structured
• A Full Drivers Licence
• Some significant/related qualifications (Dip/Cert etc)
• Intermediate to advanced Excel (formulas/tables), Great Plains (can learn)

Offer
• $60k prorata ie $29.80/hr 30 hours/week
• Flexible start/finish eg 8am-2pm, 9am-3pm daily
• WFH policy, application can be made eg 1 day/week at home
• Start in New Year (10 day Christmas close)
• Onsite parking (very near motorway)
