Background

Working within a professional property team, the contract function of Property Manager will pick up a portfolio of social housing providing management of property assets (residential and commercial) owned by this national Community Housing Provider - focusing on Auckland/North.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager Property Services, we require an practiced Property Manager to manage property assets, including preparing and managing annual budgets for planned and reactive repairs and maintenance, implement and administrate all aspects of the property plan, budgets ensuring accurate identification, etc.
There are numerous property projects at different stages so you will need good project management expertise to ?pick up the reins' and drive them forward to a prosperous outcome. As some projects need "driving", to understand requirements, to engage with stakeholders and get agreement on the needs, and to inject solid governance to getting the project started working on discovery, planning, scope, and risk & issues, etc.
About You
We need a resourceful and dynamic Property Manager to ?get the job' done through the flexibility of work tasks, ?owning' the processes, driving towards prosperous delivery, and the graceful management of the various stakeholders. As this values-centric organisation has a small Property team, you must bring a wealth of expertise and practice across planning, scheduling and budgeting, project management, sales and purchase, contract management, lease management, and regulatory compliance.
Structured, credible, driven, and resourceful will sum up the ideal contractor's attributes, along with a proven background in property management.
