Our client's operational reach extends from New Zealand to Australia, the Pacific Islands, and Southeast Asia. With over 100 years of experience servicing a wide range of customers across many market sectors, our client is positioned for growth through product and market development. As a storeman for this company, you will be required to assist with the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and dispatch of goods. Along with this, you will also be required to: » Comply with all Health and Safety Requirements » Report all incidents, near misses, and emergencies. » Use a forklift in a safe and appropriate manner » Attend to calling customers as required, competently check stock records, and provide packing slips where required » Maintain a positive relationship with all transport providers. » Ensure that all orders are picked correctly and accurately » Maintain a clean and tidy workspace » Carry out any additional instructions as they are provided To be considered for the role, you will need to: » Have 2+ years of experience as a storeman » Have proven experience with customer service » Have excellent communication skills » Have a keen eye for detail » Have experience in operating a high reach forklift in an effective and safe manner » Be computer literate » Be physically fit » Have a full driver's license (preferred but not essential) This is a great opportunity to join a company that is passionate not only about the work that they do, but the people that they work with, and pride themselves on providing a welcoming and inclusive team environment.
