Offer: Senior Analyst:MinEducationJob description:Job DescriptionAre you looking for a large project to lead?We are seeking for an practiced and confident senior analyst with excellent leadership abilities and personal organisation. Senior Analyst Our Senior Analysts need excellent project and people management expertise. We are working with hundreds of schools, at any one time to implement research involving thousands of students and hundreds of teachers and principals. We work to strict international deadlines and quality standards. At times study leads will be directing the work of 20-50 temporary staff in order to achieve our collections. Proficiency using statistical analytical packages such as R and SAS for quantitative analysis. Clear report writing, presentation, expertise of survey and sampling design and project management are key expertise required. We highly value previous practice in educational research, especially working with policy colleagues and international partner agencies. Note, capability and availability to undertake international travel is an expectation of this function, we anticipate this resuming sometime after 2021. You will be leading and managing research and analysis in our large scale research studies; National Monitoring Study of Student Achievement, Programme for International Student Assessment, Progress in International Reading Literacy Study, Trends in International Maths and Science Study, and Teaching and Learning International Study projects. About the Educational Measurement and Assessment team The Educational Measurement and Assessment team implement five large-scale national and international research studies that help us to know the he alth of the New Zealand Education system. We work with international partners such as the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA).
