Offer: Test Lead:MinEducationJob description:Job Description» Test Lead required to lead and deliver the Business Acceptance Phase of testing for a large programme» Fixed-term function position for 12 – 18 months within a tight and supportive team » located in Wellington CBD The Ministry of Education has an exciting opportunity for practiced professionals looking for a fixed-term Test Lead. this function sits within the Ministry’s Testing Services team, which forms part of a much wider ICT capcapability. This is a dynamic team responsible for delivering Business Acceptance testing across one of the Ministries significant projects. The Test Lead is expected to lead and manage the Business Acceptance testing (BAT) for the project. This includes test planning, test design and preparation, test execution, test reporting as well as any close out activities. The prosperous candidate will bring expertise, expertise and practice in the following areas: » Ownership of the BAT Test Plan » Definition of BAT resource requirements » Management and co-ordination of BAT test execution » Status reporting of BAT progress and defects to Functional Test Manager and Test Director » Management and escalation of BAT Defect resolution process » Management and escalation of issues and risks » Ownership of the BAT Test Summary Report It is desirable, but not a pre-requisite, that the prosperous candidate has the following Appropriate qualifications: » A significant tertiary qualification » ISTQB Foundation certified » ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst certified Please note that NZ residency is required.
