We have a great opportunity for you to join our team as a Relationship Manager M?ori Health. This is a newly created relationship function, to support ACC’s collaboration with key agencies, building and managing strong relationships to support the delivery of ACC and other agency services. You will be the conduit between ACC and M?ori providers, iwi, hap?, wh?nau, and our client contributors.
Our team is focused on changing the way we respond to the needs of kiritaki (clients) and wh?nau M?ori, and creating a more equitable ACC practice for M?ori. To do this, we will be working closely with M?ori organisations and communities to explore what good solutions, services and results look like now and in the future.
The key focus in this function will be working with our M?ori providers in the Maternal birth injury space. You will be someone who has strong connections with hapori M?ori (M?ori communities) having worked closely with organisations that support m?m? and whanau.
Some of the important mahi you will be involved in:
   » Build effective relationships with key stakeholders involved in Maternal birth injury services
   » Work in partnership with the M?ori Health team to support and implement our M?ori health service management model
   » Promote kaupapa M?ori health services
   » Lead the coordination and facilitation of ACC’s contribution to kaupapa Maori services
   » Collaborate with key agencies to support in the onboarding and continuing service delivery of new kaupapa M?ori providers
   » Build strong internal relationships and share information with key business units across ACC
What We are seeking for from you to be prosperous in this function:
   » Displays a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy for m?m? and wh?nau
   » Demonstrated significant practice in M?ori health.
   » Demonstrated practice within the health sector, wahine M?ori and/or wh?nau M?ori health- either hospital, community, or primary healthcare
   » Networks and practice in navigating the intricacies and sensitivities involved with work in the maternity space
   » practice in leading and implementing M?ori and cultural development frameworks within a complex organisation
   » Good knowledge of te reo M?ori me ng? tikanga with a deep knowledge of M?ori culture and values, alongside strong iwi networks
   » M?tauranga M?ori (M?ori knowledge) and capability to provide m?tauranga M?ori guidance
   » Excellent communication and relationship management expertise
   » Strong team player, particularly in the context of a multi-disciplinary, cross-sector partnership environment.
   » Highly organised and able to manage and prioritise work, including managing stakeholder expectations
