Steelfort is a well-established and respected, privately owned company with a diverse range of retail and commercial products. Their head office is based in Palmerston North and the two segments of this company are its range of Outdoor Power Equipment and associated products, and its commercial range of manufactured equipment. They are currently looking for a Store Person for their busy Distribution Centre. The hours are Monday - Friday 2.30pm - 11.00pm - no weekend work! You will be required to lock up the premises in the evening and lead a couple of staff members, so we are looking for someone who is up for that level of responsibility. The key responsibilities of this pivotal role are: » Assist with unloading of incoming containers » Assist with picking orders for despatch using an RF scanner » Ensure isles are in their correct order and product in correct place » General administration/data entry duties To be successful you will have the following: » Sound knowledge of warehouse and distribution processes » Current forklift licence, experience with clamp style forklifts and Crown 5200 series reach trucks a bonus » Experience using an RF scanner » Strong communication skills » Excellent attention to detail and accuracy » Solid numeracy skills » Physically fit » Current MPI Accredited Persons Certificate a bonus » Computer proficient with competencies in MS Excel & Word Apply on-line with a Cover Letter and updated CV or for further information please call Sarah Wright at Adecco on 021 497 042.
