About the function
We’ve got a great opportunity for a Design Lead who will be responsible for developing and managing whole of system design initiatives, enabling the prosperous delivery and implementation of the ACC Health Services Strategy, with a particular focus on Maori Health.
Your expertise of m?tauranga, te ao M?ori measurement, conceptual and results frameworks to plan, develop, and/or continuously improve wh?nau centred programmes and approaches will be critical to the success of improving Maori Health Services.
Through a te ao M?ori lens determine the nature and scope of the injury M?ori health problem with analysis of injury and claims incidence, stakeholder data and insight, customer insight, claims cost, and current strategies and practice to build evidence of the protective factors and strengths-located measurement approaches. Working closely with the Design team you will develop and implement a design approach which supports the strategic needs of Health Partnerships to deliver on initiatives in line with the ACC Health Services Strategy.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
   » Scoping design initiatives and sources including leading significant resources to support the design and delivery
   » Have an integrated view across ACC and the wider health sector
   » Ensure alignment across ACC to the ACC Health Services Strategy
   » Facilitate workshops with health sector and clients to collectively design
   » Critically review ACC spend and investment opportunities
   » Take a whole of system approach to design that delivers proven treatment and agreed clinical pathways
To be prosperous in this function you will have practice of wh?nau-centred approaches, programmes and delivery, expertise of Te Ao M?ori measurement, conceptual and outcome frameworks underpinned hap?, iwi and M?ori entity interests and aspirations is desirable.
You will come from a health service design/service integration background however we welcome candidates from other disciplines and industries who have significant design practice. Having the capability to interact and influence diverse stakeholders will be second nature from time spent working within the health sector or significant industry.
