Senior Adviser - Risk ManagementJob location:Wellington Wellington Central Work Type: Permanent » » » »9-month fixed term contract »Flexibility with hours »$90k -110k income The function this function sits within the Compliance & Governance business unit, and you will provide advice and support across the organisation in terms of identifying, reporting, and mitigating organisational risks. You will provide assurance on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the risk management framework and connected controls over the organisations systems. tasks • Ensure the organisation has a consistent approach to the identification and management of risk by assisting the team in developing / maintaining a risk management framework. • Assist to implement the risk management framework by assisting the front-line staff in identifying, evaluating, and managing risks, providing an internal control framework, and undertaking monitoring and testing. • Assisting in the compilation of regular reporting to ensure SLT is informed of organisational risks and mitigation strategies. expertise & practice • significant tertiary qualification. • 5 years plus practice in risk identification and management. • Project management expertise, including practice in leading projects and achieving effective results in situations where there are diverse interests. • expertise of strategic and business planning processes. • Strong track record in managing relationships and consultation with an assortment of internal and external stakeholders. • Proven practice in analysing technical issues and making business decisions with financial impact.
