Dairy Farm adjunct:Job description:Dairy Farm adjunctPayment: Accommodation & Paid (25.00)Job location: Culverden Region: Christchurch & Canterbury practice: Limited practice Necessary Contact: 0276758126 Listing Added: 25/08/2022 MAY SUIT A COUPLE TRAVELLING TOGETHER We have a full time position available for a Dairy Farm adjunct for a 950 cow farm located in Culverden, North Canterbury - Immediate Start tasks will include milking 950 cows through a 50 bale rotary cowshed, weed spraying, general stock work, basic farm maintenance, tractor work, feeding out, loading the silage wagon, calf feeding and assisting vets if required You will be required to work as part of a team also independently under instruction. We are happy to train the right person with the right attitude but previous dairy farm practice would be a bonus You need to be physically fit as the position involes lifting and milking, due to Information technology being calving season your estimated hours would be approximatly 50 hours per week. Our roster is 8 days on 2 days off followed by 8 days on 3 days off A current Drivers license is also required We require a clear police history and a no drug history This position may suit a couple and may suit someone wanting 3 - 6 months work Please state NZ Visa Status as you will need to hold a valid and current NZ work visa Accomodation is provided in a 2 bedroom furnished cottage on farm, with power and internet covered Flick us a email if you require more information Skills:
