The team are currently working on a number of initiatives requiring modifying some existing ones to reflect changes being made in the source systems and building new data marts when required. The team also have a reasonable amount of support work they are responsible for. They are looking for an additional BI developer to assist the team in all aspects of their work. The ETL software used is SAP Data Services and the Data Warehouse is built on DB2 with the majority of the source systems also being DB2, with some additional Oracle, SQL server and flat file sources. They need someone who can hit the ground running and has strong practice in data modelling and ETL development. Technical expertise: • Strong practice in SQL • Strong practice in enterprise level DBMS such as Oracle or MS SQL • Good practice in data modelling • Good expertise in Unix scripting and use of Unix/Linux operating systems • practice/expertise of Business Objects universe design and development desirable.
