About this function We have an opportunity for you to bring your knowledge, expertise and practice to a fixed-term Lead Advisor function in the Hawke’s Bay/Tairawhiti team. The position is fixed-term until 25 July 2022. Although predominantly Napier located, Lead Advisors are required to work and travel across the entire region, Central Hawke’s Bay to Potaka, as the need requires. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team developing and implementing initiatives to lift student achievement and bring about change for and with schools, K?hui Ako and communities. About you You will need: » an in-depth knowledge of factors influencing educational performance, student achievement and participation in both English medium and M?ori medium school sectors » the proven capability to coordinate regional support for student learning and engagement in STEM subjects across a range of education settings » a genuine interest in and knowledge of NCEA, including the NCEA change programme recent prosperous practice in secondary education and/or education leadership abilities » to build relationships of trust by being honest, respectful and well-informed.
