Furniture, Bedding & Appliance SalespersonJob location:Waikato Rest of Waikato Work Type: Permanent » » » »Potential manager position – for the right person »$20-23/hr + commission ($50-60K OTE) »Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm + some Saturday mornings The Company You will be part of a family owned business who are one of the largest privately owned retail groups in New Zealand. With 16 different stores and brands across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty they look after their people well and can offer genuine opportunities for career advancement. They sell quality brands, have a great reputation and are good people. This is a company you’d want to work for. The Job located in the vibrant Putaruru store you’ll be the expert on home appliances, whiteware and technology to advise customers and help with the sale. You’ll be provided products training but a nous for retail sales will ensure you are able to maximise sales and gain your commission. The hours are Mon – Fri 9am to 5pm plus rostered Saturdays (approx. 2 out of 3) 9am – 12.30pm. You’ll need to be tech savvy, using point of sales software and Microsoft suite. this function could suit a manager, so if you’ve got the practice and aptitude then we can discuss this further at interview. The 2IC responsibilities, include staff training, development and supporting the Store Manager. The Ideal Person You may not have sold appliances or technology before but you will be passionate about it. Your drive and energy will shine and your communication expertise and confidence helping customers source the right products is key.
