Our organisation works to a model of care centered around our four 'pou' (guiding principles) of manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, arohatanga and rangatiratanga. These values are integral to our practice and service. We deliver 30+ health and social services across the life span (i.e. from infants to the elderly) and have a team of 100+ people working across Hamilton city and beyond. We have a number of Alcohol and other Drug (AoD) full time positions available within our Te Ara Pai Service. This is a 40 hour a week primarily Monday to Friday role. On occasions you may be required to work the weekend, dependent on the support needs of your whanuanga. We are seeking experienced AoD clinicians who; » Pride themselves on a wh?nau first, tikanga based, wellbeing approach » Are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our whanaunga » Have a positive and supportive mindset with our whanaunga to achieve their goals and aspirations » Are patient and calm and enjoy working alongside our whanaunga at their pace » Will be respectful and uphold the integrity and dignity of our whanaunga » Know how to work to a holistic approach to wellbeing If you enjoy working in a kaupapa M?ori organisation, have a strong work ethic and your career pathway is working in alcohol and other drugs, then this may be the role for you. Requirements: » Level 7 or above qualification in AoD, Maori and Indigenous Studies, Nursing, Bi-cultural Social Work or the Allied Health Sector » More than 3 years' continued experience in their respective discipline » Must be registered to the appropriate board » Group facilitation skills » Full Driver's License » High level of computer Literacy » Fully Vaccinated and boosted » Demonstrates a high level of oral and written skills » Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa What next?
