About the function
As a Case Manager you'll help clients access a wide variety of tailored support. In this face-to-face function, you'll be having in-depth conversations with clients all over the day, helping to uncover opportunities for employment and financial independence where appropriate.
You'll provide a range of other support such as covering housing instcapability through early intervention to secure tenancy, employment, vocational and training pathways that are aligned to individual needs. You will also work on the housing and earnings support queue and ensure that clients are supported financially and receiving their full and correct financial entitlement.
You'll help clients to help navigate through changing labour markets and job opportunities, with the goal of securing sustainable employment.
All of this means, that We are seeking for someone who wants to help those in need and can apply critical thinking and problem solving whilst ensuring clients feel supported through significant conversations.
About you
Pragmatic and empathetic, you enjoy engaging with people from all backgrounds and can remain calm under pressure and finding solutions to problems. Your welcoming approach and man?akitanga with people will enable you to know them, understand how to best support them, and work with them to meet their needs. You treat people with respect and show care for those in vulnerable positions.
Strong relationship and negotiation expertise are useful, and you are able to motivate and empower others to overcome barriers in a non-judgmental way. You're comfortable working in a fast paced environment and enjoy navigating through unexpected challenges.
You'll bring a high level of personal integrity and initiative to the function. We work with some robust computer systems, so it's important that you are PC literate and are able to lgain new computer systems quickly.

The income for this function starts from $62,660.00 and with progression can to $76,585.00 per annum (in line with expertise, practice and other factors).
Hours of work
   » prosperous candidates will be rostered to work over 5 days per week.
   » Total hours of work are 37 hours and 55 minutes per week.
   » Scheduled shifts are between Monday – Friday 6:55am to 10:00pm and Saturdays between 8:00am to 2:00pm.
