Machine OperatorJob location:Bay of Plenty Tauranga Work Type: Temporary » » » » Mt Maunganui location, 4 on 4 off shift work, 24/7 rotating roster » Large food manufacturer » Great culture that fosters developing their people The Company You'll be working for one of New Zealand's leading food manufacturers. The factory has top quality machinery and many automated processes – innovation is at the forefront of their entire manufacturing process. They look after their people well with excellent training and sound health and safety policies. The Job You will be working in the packaging and distribution area. The tasks rotate between everyone on shift. You could expect to be packaging products, quality checking, loading boxes or forklift driving. There are between 10-13 people on per shift, with a mix of men and women. You will start on the casual roster, the shifts work in a 4 on 4 off rotation where you will work 6am – 6pm, 2 days and 2 nights per rotation. If you are good there is potential to be promoted onto a permanent contract within a few months of starting. You must have : » A good attitude and initiative – you think Information technology wouldn’t be hard to find, but we just want people who care about doing a good job and think about what they are doing. » Excellent attention to detail and be good with numbers » Be reliable and a proven work ethic, references required » Be fit and healthy and able to lift 25kg » A forklift licence is preferable, but if you don’t have one, still apply The season has begun, so please send your CV to Cherie by clicking Apply today.
