Job Description:
Are you ready to take the reins and lead from the front? As a Senior Credit Controller, you'll be at the helm of managing our ledger and overseeing volume delegation with a fresh perspective. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and be proficient in spreadsheeting and Excel.
Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing:
Key Responsibilities:
   » Lead and supervise the credit control team, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
   » Manage a ledger of allocated customers, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
   » Oversee the delegation of volume within the department to ensure tasks are completed promptly and accurately.
   » Generate manual invoices and credit notes as required, with proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
   » Act as a liaison between departments and customers to resolve administrative problems and inquiries promptly.
   » Assist credit administrators with banking reports and allocation of direct credits, ensuring prompt and accurate processing of customer payments.
   » Investigate and resolve queries relating to non-payment of invoices.
   » Perform account reconciliation and produce daily and month-end reports.
   » Participate in company initiatives such as Green ideas and Continuous Improvement.
   » Build professional relationships with customers and stakeholders.
   » Work towards strict monthly and annual collections targets.
   » Identify and resolve issues constructively, ensuring continuous improvement in the quality of service provided.
   » Maintain strict confidentiality with regard to all professional dealings and intellectual property within the company.
Qualifications and Skills:
   » Previous experience in credit control or a similar role.
   » Leadership and management skills.
   » Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheeting.
   » Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
   » Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
   » Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
   » Commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in customer service.
