Northland Transport Alliance:FuelAgencyJob description:Job DescriptionThe Northland Transportation Alliance (NTA) is a collaboration between the Whangarei, Kaipara and Far North District Councils, Northland Regional Council and Waka Kotahi (New Zealand Transport Agency) to deliver joined-up transportation services for Northland.We are extremely passionate about what we do and our employees are critical to our success, no matter what the function. About the function Forming part of the support team, you will play an integral part in advising and supporting our NTA people to thrive and be their best at work all over all parts of the employee lifecycle. You will be the first point of contact on people related matters and focus on the areas of recruitment, onboarding, day to day P&C advice to staff and managers, health, safety and wellbeing support, training support and work to build and maintain our user-friendly staff systems and information. While you will be the central point of contact, you will also maintain relationships with the four Council P&C Business Partners to escalate issues as necessary. Sound judgement and confidentiality in this space will be required. The holder of this function will be employed by Whangarei District Council and will be located in our Whangarei office. About you We're looking for a real ?people person' with great communication expertise and the capability to develop excellent relationships. You will bring your warm, can-do attitude as well as an excellent work ethic and the desire to learn. We are pursuing a proactive, confident self-starter who can work under pressure and has an eye for detail. We need you to be adept at using technology and look at information, systems, and processes with the users in mind. Prioritising workloads and being a ?step ahead' will come naturally to you.
