About the role As internal progression is important for my client, this role is to backfill a recent promotion within the sales team. As a Sales Representative, the primary focus of your role is to maintain relationships with customers, understand their needs and develop sales plans for assigned customers. You will also lead day to day activities such as answering inquiries, processing orders, preparing reports and overall working in conjunction with the sales team to achieve business goals. This is a Monday - Friday, office-based position in Mangere with parking provided on site. Company insight My client is a pioneer in Health & Nutrition, created locally in New Zealand 35 years ago. Skills & experience required Ideally, my client is looking for a candidate who understands the dairy & infant formula reflected by a degree in food science or relative technical degree . 1-2 years of relevant work experience within a B2B or B2C customer service role and strong computer literacy . Within a sales role, great communication and enthusiasm is vital along with exposure to key performance measures.
