About the opportunity: Reporting to the Head of Finance in New Zealand, the Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business operations and finance. Key responsibilities will include: » Managing weekly and monthly management reporting for the country, ensuring timely, accurate, and of high quality » Supporting financial planning efforts, including monthly rolling forecast, annual budget, and long term plan » Managing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) across the country including reporting, analysis, and driving optimization plan, especially relating to financial metrics such as revenue, Gross Profit and Gross Margin, and costs » Developing financial models and providing valuable inputs to the business, to facilitate decision making via analysis » Building and delivering efficient processes using global systems and tools, driving consistency and removing roadblocks along financial process Our ideal candidate: » CPA qualified » At least 5 years of experience in business analysis and commercial finance » Experience in a regional or global role with multi-country reach » Will be able to go deep into the details, while at the same time stepping back and keeping the bigger picture in mind » Have experience working in a complex environment, with different brands, service lines, and global functions To be successful you will require an excellent understanding of business requirements. It is a diverse role, so important that you are someone who can manage and prioritise multiple projects, while maintaining strong and trusting relationships.
