IT/Network Hardware & Software InstallerJob location:Bay of Plenty Tauranga Work Type: Permanent » » » »Work with industrial electricians; networks, software/hardware installs »$70-90K, depending on practice »Huge variety, broad range of industrial clients Employed my an electrical contractor, varied client base in diverse industries across the Bay of Plenty eg kiwifruit, high-tech manufacturing, food and industrial. This is a good company to work for. It’s a locally owned industrial electrical business, they’re small in stature and big in skills. Known for providing quality electrical, automation and technology solutions, they work with most of the biggest and best industries in the region. They are a team of highly skilled electrical engineers and electricians, what we need is additional skills in network design and installation. Your skills will be used on projects across all clients and industries. Your time will be split working from the Te Puna office/workshop and onsite with customers across the BOP. Your workload will include: • Design and installing data panels and data networks – LAN and remote access connections • Installing ethernet and fibre networks, installing routers, data switches and computers • Knowledge of industrial site network protocols • Selecting equipment, installing and setting up POE equipment • Selecting, installing and programming cameras and NVRs • Setting up operating systems, cloning, bias settings, raspberry pis and remote access • Software installation, set up and integration • Label printer maintenance Normally you’ll work 40 hours a week, however we ask for flexibility there will be some after hours and on call work – which you’ll be paid overtime for. The ideal candidate will have: • A proven background in network installation and have worked on industrial sites • A sound mechanical operational knowledge • Good organization and job management; be able to work to deadlines and operate unsupervised This company look after their staff well.
