Closes 10 Mar 2021 Posted on 1 Mar 2021 Region Auckland Work type Contract Work classification Screen & Sound ShareCalling energetic, engaging, camera-practiced people with a gift for passing on expertise!Nanogirl Labs is seeking presenters to host a series of brand new instructional video content pieces being created to support science learning in schools across Samoa, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands and Cook Islands. No prior skills in science is necessary - we will provide all resources and subject-matter skills. We are seeking for individuals who can present any given subject matter with confidence. practice working in or connection to the Pacific region is preferred. Ideally, you'll be Auckland-located, or at least have the capability to travel to Auckland (at our expense) for 2-3 day shoots to record the videos. This is a paid position with a flexible, variable time commitment all over 2021. About youYou're a confident speaker and presenter, able to handle instructional text with ease, including some scientific language. You will ideally have practice as a performer or presenter, and be comfortable working on camera. Perhaps you have similar practice presenting instructional video content, for example a YouTube channel. You have links with the Pacific Islands either through your background or life practice. You're aged 25 - 55 years and are located within New Zealand, ideally within commuting distance of Auckland. You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand. These functions are not gender-specific - we welcome applications from people of all genders. Time commitmentWe are seeking for people who can commit to several blocks of 2-3 day shoots for recording all over the year, plus extra rehearsal time. There is considerable flexibility in our shoot schedule. ReimbursementThis is a paid position. Payment will depend on practice and time commitment.
