We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Quality Control Technician to effectively manage and continuously improve our client's compliance with their milk-based products. Our client is a well-known company in the dairy industry, and they specialise in exporting dried dairy products not only around New Zealand but around the world.

This role is based out of our client's Avondale plant, and you will be part of a highly driven team who works to a high standard on a day-to-day basis. As part of the role, you will be required to:
   » Carry out line testing, verification & approval processes within agreed timeframes
   » Manufacturing associated documentation completed in full and data up to date and accurate
   » Identify potential food safety risks and out-of-spec products and place them on hold until the risk is resolved
   » Complete batch site release
   » Assist with customer complaints via investigations
   » Undertake regular online assessments to ensure consistent implementation of maintenance of Good Manufacturing practices
   » Participate in regular internal/external audits and contribute towards the implementation of corrective actions

To be considered for the role, you will need to have:
   » Previous industry experience in Quality Control
   » High level of attention to detail
   » Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken communication
   » Good time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure
   » Strong people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with people within the plant
