Cafe manager:Job description:Cafe managerPayment: Paid Position ($23-27)Job location: Ngatea Region: Waikato/Coromandel practice: practice Necessary Listing Added: 29/09/2022 We are seeking for a Cafe manager for the summer season (November through to the end of February) to supervise the everyday operations of the Ngatea cafe . You will be responsible for training employees, assigning tasks, enforcing cleaning and food safety standards, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. As the Café manager you will also be required to supervise the day-to-day running of the cafe, and ensure food health and safety requirements are adhered to. What you need to succeed? » practice in Managing staff. » Basic expertise on safe food handling processes. » Excellent interpersonal expertise and the capability to develop strong working relationships. » The capability to deliver constructive criticism. » Computer literate and basic math expertise. » Excellent problem-solving abilities. » Basic expertise on Health and safety processes and procedures. » The capability to train staff in the appropriate work practices. This is a full time summer position until the end of our blueberry season (expected to be around the middle of February, but could be a week more or less depending on the weather over the season) and you need to be very flexible with hours and days worked, as you will be rostered on 5-6 days a week over a 7 day cycle . You will also need to be staying in the area over the Christmas and NY period. There is the opportunity for pay rates to rise depending on practice and performance. Skills:
