To cover a very busy work flow we are urgently looking for Laboratory Technicians and adjuncts . These positions will be located at their Wellington testing Laboratory in their Specialty Testing Division. We require practiced Laboratory Technicians to cover afternoon/evening shifts 3pm to 2am, Tuesday to Friday and optional Saturdays; Laboratory adjuncts are needed to cover day shift 8.30 – 4.30pm or 9am – 5pm, Tuesday to Friday and optional Saturdays. The ideal candidates will: » Be a new graduate or student NZ Bachelors degree (or postgrad Diploma) with a major in Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related science located degree. » Be able to work well within a team and be adaptable. » Have excellent attention to detail and able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure. » Have excellent clear communication expertise (verbal and written). » Good computer expertise (expertise of databases would be preferential) » Be able to start immediately This is a great opportunity to work for a major laboratory where you will be given an opportunity to gain invaluable practice in a GMP/GLP environment.
