Job Opportunity: Calf Rearer:Job description:Calf RearerPayment: Paid Position ($20)Job location: Tirau Region: Waikato/Coromandel practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 12/05/2021 We run a large calf rearing operation and are looking for two people to join our team on a 5 month fixed term contract starting 1st June. If you love working with animals in a great team environment please send your curriculum Curriculum for us. The roster will be 11days on, 3 days off. We have a fully furnished, two bedroom farm cottage available for rent. This position involves all aspects of calf rearing including: » Feeding milk and meal » Sorting calves » Weighing calves » Moving calves » Drafting calves » Administration of animal remedies » Tagging Calves » Loading and unloading trucks » Setting up sheds and equipment » Cleaning up sheds and equipment And any other general farm work or other work as requested by the farm manager.
