Field Service TechnicianJob location:Auckland Auckland Central Work Type: Permanent » » » Our client: • A global company, with products and solutions essential within the healthcare sector, the products used in NZ provide quality care to patients who have mobility issues. Overview: • Join a team of Service Technicians (working alongside a Project/Product Installer) you will be trained to install the company’s electro-mechanical equipment into a healthcare client base which includes aged care facilities and hospitals • Reporting to, and working closely with the Key Accounts Manager, you will have the opportunity to also develop customer relationships and become an expert in this specialist medical product area! • Your function will be to undertake preventative and reactive maintenance, quality assurance, installation and commissioning of a range of products and third party products supplied and supported by the company • located primarily in Auckland, with the odd North Island travel required, ie once a month with an overnight trip, occasionally longer, only very rarely will you be required to do overtime or any weekend work You: • Will have a minimum Electrical Appliance Serviceperson EAS qualification, Electrical Service Technician a plus • Diagnosis abilities – faults/technical issues • Computer expertise • Be physically fit • Great communications expertise to contact with internal team, and external customers and suppliers • Be able to travel in the North Island overnight (one night approx. a month) Note - Our client requires evidence of Covid Vaccination prior to starting, Drug & Alcohol screening and a Police check will be conducted Offer: • Product range training • income range neg up to $75,000 with an additional generous bonus structure! • Company vehicle (reasonable personal use) and Fuel Card, currently a Transit Van to be updated to a new Toyota • Mobile phone • Laptop/ipad • Training opportunity and potential succession ie career growth • Core hours 8.30am to 4.30pm, occasional overtime (paid allowance) • All Tools supplied • A very reliable secure employer in ‘essential services’ established over 50 years, offering long term employment that a genuine and caring person wanting the best for others will absolutely thrive in! • AND a ‘Great Place to Work’ Certification!
