Customer Liaison & Inventory ControllerLocation All AucklandAuckland Job type Full Time Salary to Category Sales & Marketing > Coordinator & Support » Variety Plus » Regular travel between plants based in Auckland » Competitive salary & free parking Our client based in Mangere Bridge has plants based from Paerata to Avondale, which will see you regularly travelling between them as part of your job. You will be responsible to lead and co-ordinate sales activities. It would be beneficial if you have had exposure to inventory control too. Keeping customers happy both internally and externally with your excellent communication skills and being able to deal with customer challenges plays a big part in this job. You will need to have the following attributes to be considered: »Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written »Persuasive, influential, relatable conversationalist »Fun and engaging personality with the ability to mix with all people »Analytical, logical, process driven, and able to prioritise in this key role in the business »Sales focussed »Strategic key account relationship skills »Computer savvy - advanced level »Ability to read and understand budgets and forecasting tools »Presentation and reporting aptitude It is desirable you understand manufacturing; purchasing, logistics, sales and finance as these are the internal colleagues you will be dealing with on a daily basis. You should pride yourself on your accuracy and problem-solving aptitude, all actioned in a timely manner. You will need to implement improvement processes, and have a clear understanding of how each department interacts with each other as the liaison person. Above all you should be willing to learn, adapt quickly, and desirably have a professional qualification. Being flexible and respecting company values, along with your sound judgement will earn you the respect required for this role. Finally, resilience, good listening skills, planning, and being results focussed will see your day challenging but fulfilling.
