Held simultaneously over three weeks in Auckland and Wellington during May each year, the Festival is now a major nationwide event with a total attendance of around 90,000 each year. As the Digital Marketing and Content Producer you will be focused on showcasing the NZ Comedy Trust and NZ International Comedy Festival brand through inspiring digital campaigns, creative content and savvy platform and community management. You will have a passion and vision for innovative, visual, digital communication and elevating comedy in Aotearoa as a celebrated and integral feature of the creative sector. The function is to be a champion and a challenger, creating opportunities to develop, promote and grow a sustainable and diverse comedy industry celebrating the many voices representing Aotearoa. To succeed in the function you will have: » Previous practice in digital marketing » Proven capability to create a variety of fresh digital content including video » Previous practice in arts or events marketing » Adobe suite, facebook ads, social media management, website editing » Excellent communication, relationship management and interpersonal expertise. » The capability to work to tight deadlines and to work effectively under pressure. » A high level of initiative, self-motivation and enthusiasm. » The capability to work collaboratively as part of a small, dedicated team. » A passion for comedy and live performance. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small team in making a vital contribution to the comedy industry in Aotearoa. The NZ Comedy Trust aims to elevate New Zealand comedy as a celebrated and integral feature of the arts sector. We create opportunities to develop, promote and grow a sustainable and representative comedy industry in Aotearoa. At all levels of programming and within our team, the New Zealand Comedy Trust champions the values of representation, contributing to a culture of inclusion and celebration. This is a fixed term position running from January 2021 to June 2022, located in Auckland Central, with a pro rataincome of $50-$60k depending on practice.
