About the Employer :
This company is one of the largest renewable packaging companies in New Zealand, well established and a leader in its industry. This is an exciting time as they are rapidly growing and thriving in the current climate. This is an rare opportunity for someone who has practice as an Account Manager, function is located in South Auckland. My client has a strong focus on their team to ensure the environment they work in is positive and thriving. This company are known for their internal promotions and upskilling.
 
About the function:
An exciting opportunity to manage one of the largest and very well-known accounts, as well as new business. You will ideally come from a manufacturing/FMCG background and have strong relationship building expertise.
 
Your function will involve but not be limited to:
   »  Identifying customer needs
   »  both operational and relationship
   »  Negotiating quotes and contracts
   »  Management of the forwarding orders
   »  Developing account strategies for profit improvements
   »  Work closely with the 3PL provider to ensure deliveries run smoothly
   »  Providing excellent communication with clients via email, phone and CRM services
   »  Upselling, and cross-sell any significant services and products.
 
About you:
   »  Min of 5 years’ practice as an Account Manager
   »  practice in a FMCG or Manufacturing industry
   »  practice using an internal production planning program e.g. SAP, QAD or Kiwiplan
   »  practice with negotiation quotes and contracts
   »  Excellent communication expertise, written and verbal
   »  You must have an strong sense of determination to do well in your function
   »  practice meeting targets and building relationships
   »  Can do attitude
   »  Unafraid of asking the hard question, able to close deals
