Our Health System Settings group is seeking analysts to support their various priority work programmes that will work to deliver Pae Ora. These include, but are not exclusive to, COVID-19 vaccine and immunisation, Pharmac Review, regulatory stewardship, surrogacy and post-humous reproduction, health workforce strategy and regulatory reform. We have the following positions available in Wellington: » One permanent Policy Analyst, Regulatory Policy » One permanent Senior Policy Analyst, Regulatory Policy » One fixed-term Principal Policy Analyst, Regulatory Policy – to 10 March 2023 » One fixed-term Senior Policy Analyst, System Enablers – to 23 December 2022 » One fixed-term Principal Policy Analyst, System Enablers – to 21 April 2023 You’ll bring a thorough knowledge of public policy issues, including Te Tiriti and Equity requirements. You can assimilate new information and apply policy frameworks to work in tight timeframes. As a highly collaborative policy professional who can see the benefits of strong policy advice using data analysis and research to evidence advice, you bring with you a strong capability to take complex information and make Information technology significant across a range of audiences. You can demonstrate a strong knowledge of how legislative and regulatory instruments can be applied to deliver better economic and social results and improve health results. Your advice is understood by a range of audiences, breaking complex problems into achievable equitable solutions. You will take ownership and action on challenges, working collaboratively with others. You are all adding value to the team, to deliver high quality policy to improve health and wellbeing results for New Zealanders. At a Senior or Principal level, you will be able to demonstrate your comfort in sharing your knowledge and mentoring analysts to grow their policy expertise. You are open to learning from others, seeking opportunities through your work to further grow both your written and analytical expertiseets, whilst demonstrating core leadership abilities expertise when leading of pieces of work.
