We are seeking for a practical, hard-working individual, who shares our passion for the arts to fill a compensateing position as a Gallery Associate in our Arrowtown gallery.We have an opportunity for a candidate with an practiced and exceptional sales background to join our creative and devoted team in a fast-paced, culturally enriching environment. this function guarantee's the capability for growth in both personal and professional development for a well adjusted and hardworking person. You will be able to grow your sales practice through everyday engagement about artworks with visitors to the gallery. We will offer you training to improve your expertise in a range of Adobe programmes, handling of artworks, and knowledge of New Zealand art. You will also be provided with the opportunity to form relationships with both senior artists and art collectors, alike. This position comes with a competitive hourly rate, working in the picturesque, heritage village of Arrowtown. The hours of work are from Wednesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm. There is a requirement for travel to our Christchurch gallery for training and exhibition purposes.
