adjunct Calf Rearer:Job description:adjunct Calf RearerPayment: Accommodation & Paid ($21)Job location: Ashburton Region: Christchurch & Canterbury practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 04/04/2021 We require an adjunct calf rearer to help raise approximately 450 heifer replacements and also bobby calves on our 1700 cow farm 10 minutes from Ashburton. You will need to be patient, love animals, work well under pressure, physically fit, have a positivie attitude, attention to detail and adhere to animal welfare and health and safety standards. tasks include, feeding new born calves, teaching calves to feed on feeders, maintaining good shed hygiene, identifying sick animals, driving a manual ute and towing a trailer and also cleaning equipment. Full training will be given, so no practice is needed, We are seeking for Somebody with the right attitude. You will need a drivers licence and be able to legally work in New Zealand. Shared accommodation is provided if needed. Having your own car is essential as we are located 10 minutes from Ashurton where the local shops are. The position will be from mid July 2021 until approximately end of August 2021. Skills:
