You will be responsible for providing technical leadership abilities, capcapability and guidance for the design & build, and will support delivery and management of the organisation’s consumption of Cloud Infrastructure and Services. You’ll be working closely with our providers and internal team to shape our ways of working, and must be keen to remain up to date with Automation, Cloud and Vendor capabilities. tasks • Participate and provide skills in the development and execution of Cloud specific design proof of concepts and prototyping destined for Production. • Contribute to transitioning to a multi-channel hybrid cloud ecosystem. • Contribute to the design and architecture decisions to ensure best use of available technologies. • Play an integral part in influencing the future of infrastructure within the organisation. • Maintain expertise of the latest developments in Cloud and Automation capabilities. • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Skills & practice • 5 years’ practice working within either an outsourced or managed services provider environment. • Minimum of 3 years of infrastructure and network architecture/design skills. • Cloud Platform practice from Infrastructure through to SaaS – mainly Azure, 365. • Strong technical and analytical skills (Microsoft, Unix, Linux, Server/Client, Virtualisation, network environments, cloud services) • Infrastructure as Code: design & security, configuration management, integration, deployment, performance monitoring & tuning, automation of infrastructure • A tertiary qualification in Computer Science or significant practice.
