About the Employer :
This company is a developer and main contractor with D&B capablity with over 30 years practice delivering large scale residential, commercial, industrial and car park projects. They have generated excellent relationships due to their strong focus on quality and client satisfaction. They have a collaborative and energetic culture with a flat management structure. Despite a lagging economy from COVID, they have a secured pipeline of work seeing opportunities. They now are about to commence an apartment development, a contract value $25M and need a Site Manager to assist in its delivery.

About the function:
Reporting to the Project Manager, your function will be to supervise the operations on a day-to-day basis, and ensure that work is executed safely, on time and includes to:
   » Manage site safety, OSH, trades and subcontractors
   » Implement the construction programming
   » Ensure time restraints are met
   » Conduct inductions and tool box talks
   » Read and interpret detailed site plans
   » Scheduling of works and deliveries
   » Site set out and mark out
About You:
   » practice to at least 8 years as a Site Manager on medium to large scale residential or commercial projects
   » Either carpentry trade qualified/structural engineering background with sound concrete/steel structures knowledge and practice
   » Excellent written and verbal communication expertise
   » capability to lead and coordinate site staff
   » Thorough knowledge of OSH and site safety
salary:
$135K - $150K
