ACC is increasing its investment in M?ori focussed injury avoidance activities together with implementing an ambitious Injury avoidance Strategy. The M?ori Injury avoidance team focuses on taking a kaupapa M?ori approach to implement Wh?ia Te Tika via injury avoidance initiatives. In this function you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation and continuing delivery of services and programmes to strengthen mana-enhancing and tapu-enriched relationships that will better deliver on wh?nau M?ori needs. Some of the important mahi you will be involved in the following: » Working together with the Healthy Consensual Relationships lead in a Tiriti-centric partnership to prosperously plan and deliver an equitable and integrated approach to ACC’s Healthy Consensual Relationship (HCR) and Oranga Whakapapa work programme » Working in partnership with wh?nau, hap?, iwi and M?ori providers and communities to design and deliver a range of services for M?ori wh?nau » Leading and managing project team members to support the implementation of ACC’s HCR and Oranga Whakapapa business case » Building strong internal relationships and share information with other key business units across ACC As the prosperous Oranga Whakapapa – M?ori Lead, you will demonstrate the following: » Energetic, motivated and have an agile and innovative mind-set » A confident and courageous M?ori leader » practiced in M?ori health and social service design, implementation, and delivery » Confident in your knowledge of Te Reo and Tikanga with a deep knowledge of Maori culture, values alongside strong Iwi networks » An excellent communicator with strong relationship management expertise across a wide variety of stakeholders, gaining their trust and respect Benefits of working at ACC include the following: » Competitive income 118k – 140k with a generous 9% superannuation contribution » Flexible working policy and up to two days work in the house » Supportive manager who cares about your career development and progression » The opportunity to be part of a leading primary avoidance system We know that a diverse and inclusive team helps us meet the needs of our customers, and we welcome candidates from every ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, age, and those with a discapability or who have additional mental health needs.
