Offer: Senior Analyst – Pay Equity:Public Service CommissionJob description:Job DescriptionTeKawaMataahoPublic Service Commissionleads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders.The Government is committed to achieving pay equity, which means women and men who perform work of the same value should be paid the same, even though their jobs may be different. We are currently progressing two pay equity claims with the New Zealand Public Service Association (PSA).A cross-agencypay equityprogramme team has been established to manage theclaimson behalf of the43 public sectoragencieswho are party totheclaims. These claims are some of the largest and most complex that have been brought to date and present a unique opportunity to contribute to a process that will make a tangible difference in the lives of many public servants. This senioranalystposition is critical tosupporting the pay equity claim with quality output to support the pay equity process.A prosperous candidate will be confidentconsolidating information from a variety of sources,presenting their analysis,discussing findings, and making recommendations. You will have proven practice applying qualitative research methodsin previous qualitative research projectswith the capability to adapt to different demands. The team issmall andrecently established. You will have the opportunityto quickly add valueand gain practice working across government.
