The function
Reporting to and working closely with the Director of Development, the Development Manager will play a key function in developing, managing and spearheading major giving at the APO.
Key responsibilities include:
   » Prospect research
   » Donor stewardship
   » Building and managing a portfolio of donors
   » Making the ?ask'
   » Recording and updating donor information on the APO's database
   » Managing prospect and donor activities

Person Specification
The ideal applicant will have a prosperous track record of meeting and exceeding fundraising targets and a significant tertiary qualification.Exceptional oral & written communication and relationshipmanagement expertiseand strong attention to detail are a must.You will thrive in a tight-knit motivated team environment, show good initiative and possess high EQ.An interest in orchestral music would be a distinct advantage.
This is a full-time function is located in central Auckland with some work outside office hours.
