To support our work, we're looking for a smart, bright, and capable Junior Graphic Designer to join ourMarketing and Communicationsteam.Reporting through to the Senior Manager Marketing and Communications and working closely with the Senior Graphic Designer, this busy function provides in-house creative support to all areas of Auckland Art Gallery Toi o T?maki. He k?rero m?u: About you By nature, you are friendly and outgoing with a professional approach. You are resilient and happy working with ambiguity in a high-pressure environment. Visually literate, you have sensitivity for the broad creative and cultural spheres, as well as an capability to present your ideas with confidence. With an excellent work ethic, you are used to juggling priorities and delivering on deadline. You enjoy variety and would feel passionate about delivering high-quality graphic design results for Auckland Art Gallery Toi o T?maki. To be prosperous in your application for this function you will have: » Three years' graphic design practice within a busy, deadline-driven environment » practice of working within the parameters of a strong brand identity and set of graphic standards » knowledge of design principles with the capability to competently execute designs to a high standard » Proficiency in working with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator » Solid creative abilities with an eye for contemporary design aesthetic, and the capability to approach design challenges practically and innovatively » Aptitude for delivering graphic design solutions across print, outdoor and digital media » A methodical and organised approach with an capability to juggle competing priorities to ensure delivery to deadline » An outgoing, confident personality that allows you to build effective working relationships.
