Job Offer: Cherry Packhouse Worker:Job description:Cherry Packhouse WorkerPayment: Paid Position ($20/hr (minimum))Job location: Blenheim Region: Marlborough/Blenheim/Picton practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 15/09/2021 Cherryland in Central Blenheim are looking for a tipper for the upcoming season to work in the packhouse. We require 1 person to lift crates of cherries (approximately 10-11kg / crate at a time) off the pallets and feed into the hydrocooler to be washed in the packhouse. You need to be physically fit for this function. Hourly rate: $20.00/ hour + 8% holiday pay. The hours are seasonally dependent and can be 7 days and long hours depending on weather and fruit conditions. The start date is approximately 25th November – 24th December 2021. (We will also have work available starting 15th November working at our Tomato property (1.5km from the orchard) as part of a team doing a crop change over for any one who is wanting to start earlier this would be 10-14 days of work ( M-F) before the cherry harvest started if you are looking for a longer lenghth of work.)
