Wardrobe adjunct - Wellington located Show function:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation World of WearableArt Closes 11 Jul 2022 Posted on 4 Jul 2022 Region Wellington Work type Contract Work classification Performing Arts ShareThe World of WearableArt (WOW) is the world's leading wearable art practice, and encompasses a renowned international wearable art competition, Aotearoa's single largest theatrical production staged in Wellington annually and exhibition activity both within New Zealand and overseas.We have the joy of working with hundreds of talented designers from around the world each year as they enter the World of WearableArt Awards Competition and have their work brought to life on stage in the annual Awards Show. We are pursuing a Wardrobe adjunct to join our Wellington located team. The Wardrobe adjunct plays an integral function backstage, supporting both the models and garments journey through rehearsals and performance during the Show season, and contributes to a variety of key wardrobe tasks. Our ideal candidate will have previous practice working with costumes in any of the following areas: live performance, film and/or television. Essential attributes include a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, great organisational expertise and must be a team player who is able to develop great working relationships with the people around them. This is a fixed term (8 August - 19 October 2022) contract function, located in Wellington.
