Forklift OperatorLocation All AucklandAuckland Job type Temporary Salary to Category Manufacturing/Operations > Store person & Warehousing » Monday to Friday, weekends off » Have a valid forklift license » Available to start right away. Responsibilities: » Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. » Load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse or production area. » Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance requirements. » Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a tidy working environment. » Assist with inventory management by tracking and recording material movements. » Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. » Work in cold storage areas as necessary. Company Policies and Procedures: » Employees must stay informed about company policies and procedures, including those regarding quality, health and safety, environmental practices, and workplace equality. » Adherence to these policies is crucial and should be reflected in everyday actions and work duties. Qualifications: » Valid forklift operator certification and/or relevant experience. » High school diploma or equivalent preferred. » Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and systematically, in line with policies and standards. » Competence in understanding, interpreting, and following instructions and procedures. » Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting. » Strong written and verbal communication skills. » A record of reliability, commitment, and motivation in the workplace. » Ability to remain calm and methodical when faced with challenges. » Must be able to work in cold environments and lift objects weighing up to 15 kg as required.
